Brazil’s Global Year of Creativity 2026 launched on April 21, 2026, and continues through November 17, 2026. Brazil is the inaugural host country of this global initiative of the World Creativity Organization. The program invites cities, educational institutions, companies and social organizations to develop projects in creativity, education, innovation, social impact and territorial development, with free actions such as training, creative labs, events, exhibitions and community initiatives.

Corrected on 2 October 2026. An earlier version of this article said that thousands of professionals across dozens of cities were taking part. We could not confirm those figures, so they were removed, and the end date was specified as 17 November 2026.
