Arts en Brief
Running October 16 to 25 across venues in Montclair, New Jersey, the Montclair Film Festival offers independent screenings, filmmaker conversations, youth education, and late-night programming. Founded by producer Bob Balaban and a group of community arts advocates, it regularly attracts directors, writers, and actors of national prominence, and the town’s walkable, culture-dense downtown makes an ideal host. Over the past decade it has become one of the most respected regional film festivals in the Northeast.
