On Sunday, October 4, from noon to 5 pm, Morristown’s historic town green fills with music, visual art, and community for an afternoon of free, open-air celebration. The Festival on the Green gathers musicians, artists, and local organizations across multiple stages, with demonstrations and hands-on workshops throughout. A longtime point of civic pride in Morris County, it reflects the community’s growing cultural diversity and remains one of the most accessible arts days in the region.

Corrected on 2 October 2026. An earlier version of this article said the festival would be held on September 27. The town rescheduled it to Sunday, October 4, 2026, because of forecasted severe weather.
